I have have a favorite place I creat it called Granny’s Korner .

I am located in a small southeastern part of Missouri..  In my home is where all my current work is done with a lot of fun and caring love.   I have been a crafter/ artist, an self taught teacher in many mediums,    This blog will be Showing an teaching technique and design an how to use great products to become a great creator.

What does Art Grandma do at Granny’s Korner?

Granny’s Korner is my favorite place in town, my home studio where I can be the best creative artist.

I love to teach you what can happen when you play with or experiment with all the wonderful stash of art supplies in our room.

I am a colored pencil artist and love this as my relaxation art therapy.   

I love sending handmade cards and doing fun group swaps.   Album and journals are a new an fun experience what can be more fun than putting together a book that you can store your most precious memories.    

I am in the process of learning watercolor painting, to finish out my acrylic painting and oil painting knowledge.  

Paper crafting is another fun creative journey for Art Grandma .

I have always played with paper making something creative since I was a young girl.

In my early years I was art leader in all the activities my children were involved in,then along came the grandkids and Art Grandmas was still creating.

Second fase  of Art Grandma was her retail business.

In 1990, I open a retail craft supply store and consignment items.

I began a career of designing florals, painting pieces, and teaching decorative painting with Decoart as a helping artists, and retail sales of their products.

When I closed my retail business, I taught homeschool art, and adult classes in my home studio.

I made a big step this year and started teaching and sharing on the Social media.

I have a Facebook group for up and coming creative people to share their work along with mine. 

I am now redoing my blog to update what is going on and show my projects.
